Well.....now that is BIG!!

When the Hearst Museum told me that they used an image of mine for a banner. I thought: "that's cool!" but I did not expect THIS!!!

And the irony is that the piece is one of my early "sculptural jewelry pieces" -- about 3" tall.

I like the scale-ability of my work, and this one in particular, I have always wanted to see large!

Mill Valley was a happy occassion!

So... the Mill Valley Arts festival was great fun!!

(At the last minute my booth got switched, to a better spot! I was thankful to be in the shade, since so many people were melting!)

Jewelry swapped hands, from mine to happy customers! It is always joyful to talk directly with people who appreciate my design sensibilities.

PEARLS are a girls best friend!

After years of saying " I'll never design jewelry with pearls!" Here I am. I was wondering to myself, just what, exactly, has changed?

Nothing. I realized it is shape that has attracted me to pearls, not just their gem like quality. It is their unique ability to be a gem like but also hold a place in the volcabulary of forms, jewelry as modernist architecture.

Now that is exciting!
