After years of saying " I'll never design jewelry with pearls!" Here I am. I was wondering to myself, just what, exactly, has changed?
Nothing. I realized it is shape that has attracted me to pearls, not just their gem like quality. It is their unique ability to be a gem like but also hold a place in the volcabulary of forms, jewelry as modernist architecture.
Now that is exciting!
